Receiving emails not addressed to me
Recently I have been getting email in my inbox that are NOT addressed to me. That is. No *******@att.net. these usually are scam, phishing, or just trying to get your info. I have reported them as "spam", "phishing" and "Block sender". Many appear to be from Europe, UK, Australia or New Zealand. How does ATT send these through to my address

Hi there, @jmclark45. We understand that you are getting emails that are not addressed to you. We can look into that.
Looks like you have done the correct process of reporting them as spam and or phishing and blocking the sender.
As for your question, unless AT&T has a legitimate business reason to contact you by email, which we will not, unless you have subscribed to e-billing and auto-pay, then you should not be getting emails from AT&T.
More often, these are fake emails or "phishing" emails. Please do not click on any links that are in those emails. They might contain spyware, or adware, which are malicious things that can run in the background and could collect information about you.
There is not more that can be done, because this is a common thing across all email service providers. All you can do is keep reporting and forwarding these emails to AT&T. We do want to let you know that the abuse team are looking for ways to stop these emails from coming in.
If there is anything else that we can do for you, please let us know.

This is reluctantly accepted. Still no one has told me how these email get into my inbox. They have been next to useless. If I had treated you customers this way our corporation would have gone bankrupt.
