How Do I Reset a Password for a Free SBCGlobal Email Account

I don't have an AT&T account, but my SBCGlobal account got automatically switched to AT&T.  I don't remember my password and my autofill isn't working.  How can I reset the password for this account???

Hi there, PaulaPhillips77. We understand that you need help resetting your email password and your autofill is not working. We can help you with that. 


To reset your password, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to reset your password.
  2. Enter your user ID and the last name associated with your ID.
  3. Choose your verification method and follow the prompts.
  4. Enter and confirm your new password.

You also mentioned that your autofill is not working. We do have a troubleshooting guide for that as well. Please follow this guide that some users have found success with:

  • Log out of the webmail. 
  • Log back into the webmail.
  • Switch to Classic View(its on the left side column)
  • Click compose.
  • Try the predictive email address fill-in. 
  • Switch back to "New Mail"(its over on the right hand side of the horizontal line.)
  • When the page changes delete the draft email that is being held in the draft folder.
  • Click compose and try the predictive email address fill-in again.
