Web site block for Phishing but no message appears

I have a work web site that continues to get blocked saying that it is a phishing site. But there are no messages in my inbox showing that this site was blocked. According to all of the tech support documents I've read, clicking on the "safe" link in the message is the only way to add this site to my exceptions list.

But what do I do when there isn't a message and no "safe" button?

Thanks

If you are encountering a situation where a work website is being blocked as a phishing site without receiving any corresponding messages or having a "safe" button to add it to your exceptions list, you can try the following steps:

  1. Check your web browser's security settings: Review the security settings of your web browser, such as the built-in security features or extensions that may be blocking certain websites. Look for any settings related to phishing protection or website blocking. Temporarily disabling these settings or adding the website to the browser's whitelist may help resolve the issue.

  2. Contact your IT department or system administrator: If you are accessing the website from a work computer or network, it's possible that the website has been intentionally blocked by your organization's security measures. Reach out to your IT department or system administrator and provide them with details about the issue. They can check if there are any specific restrictions in place and assist you in accessing the website safely.

  3. Use an alternative device or network: If possible, try accessing the website from a different device or network (e.g., personal computer or mobile data) to see if the blocking issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to your current device or network configuration.

  4. Report the issue to the website owner or support: If you believe the website has been mistakenly flagged as a phishing site, you can contact the website owner or their support team. Provide them with information about the blocking issue and request assistance. They may be able to investigate the situation, resolve any false positives, and help you access the website without further issues.

Remember to exercise caution when accessing websites that are flagged as phishing sites, as it's important to protect your personal and sensitive information.
