unable to download mcafee

I am trying to download AT&T security powered by MacAfee and coming across the below error. I see in forums that this issue is resolved and reached out to customer care several times. I was told necessary ID was activated and transferred me to Mcafee support, due to the same error they could help either. How do I get McAfee antivirus?

We can help you install AntiVirus Plus, pkg1234.

The error message indicates that this isn't an account issue, so we suggest troubleshooting your browser. Clear the cache and cookies to help the page load correctly and download the software.

Restarting your gateway could help as well, by refreshing your Internet connection. Unplug the power connection behind the gateway for 15 seconds, plug it back in, and wait for the Broadband light to turn green. If you have the BGW320 model, wait for the light on the front to turn solid white.

If you need further assistance, let us know.

I am having same issue but AT&T has not been able to address the issue. it seems the issue has been going from years. I had same issue last year and then was connected with Mcafee support who installed some different version for a year. It expired in end of Nov 2022. i called AT&T and they connected me to McAfee support who installed trial version for one month telling me that meanwhile issue will be resolved. Again i called today and AT&T is telling me that issue is still not resolved and their is no update about any time frame to resolve the issue. I am wondering if in realty anyone is working on resolving the issue or AT&T does not wan to fix it and is false promising it customers wasting their time dealing with technical support.
