It says high speed ATT wireless internet and it is not true. It says McAfee free download and it is not true either or it is hiding somewhere that impossible to find.

We're here to help address your internet speed & security concerns, @Milaya75.

To start, we do have some information on what affects your internet speed and how to optimize it. You can also:

  1. Use the Smart Home Manager app to diagnose and troubleshoot potential problems with your internet.
  2. Reboot your gateway to refresh your connection. Many internet issues can be fixed with a simple restart!

As for your request to download McAfee, here are some steps on how to get AT&T AntiVirus Plus (Powered by McAfee) to help secure your PC:

  1. Go to AT&T AntiVirus Plus and select Download Now.
  2. Enter your user ID and password.
  3. If you have internet speeds of:
    • 3Mbps or higher, go to Step 4.
    • 1.5Mbps or lower, select Buy Subscription. You can purchase a subscription for $5 per month.
  4. Follow the prompts to download and install AntiVirus Plus.

Let us know how these steps work for you!

This did not address the issue posted AT ALL. I am having the same issue. If AT&T has internet security for PC's, it is well hidden. There used to be one free to customers. I couldn't even get tech support to help!

I get the following message when trying to download:

The AT&T Internet Security Suite is only available to AT&T High Speed Internet and DSL customers at this time.

To learn more, or to place an order for AT&T Internet products, please visit att.com/dsl.

How do I fix as I am a longstanding DSL customer?
