att.net Login Issue

Hello all,

We are aware of an email issue that is preventing our members from logging in. We do not have a time-frame this will be resolved but our teams are actively working to address this.

Logging in using login.yahoo.com is a workaround.

No one called it a soulution..  the mail.yahoo.com is a work around.

Not logon.yahoo.com..   mail...

But at least, this is the first closest to official word i have seen, indicating the folks at att/yahoo/verizon actually give a darn, and are finally getting around to fixing that annoyance.

Thank you.   (No, seriously, thank you!)

I have been trying for months to get my blooming att mail on my computer. I have changed the password so many times it isn't funny. Good thing I guess  I still have my old AOL account but I have things coming to the att account I can't read. I am not sure now it is even coming to my ipad and iphone and it was doing that so I could check them. This is just beyond not funny. And I won't even get into how I feel about ATT.

Hello,

I am having problems log in to install the High Speed Internet.

The system is asking me for the ID and Password. Is there a direct phone number taht I can call for help. The automated phone systems is real headache. I am getting frustrated trying over and over again.

Thanks

Hello @SouthFlorida1,

I have been working Internet for 16 years here and I have never heard of WANS.NET until now. I quickly googled it to find that it was bought by prodigy long ago, then we bought prodigy of course. So doing a little more digging, I discovered that this is particular account is tied to a dial up account. Regular customer service can not pull up dial up accounts. So please excuse their confusion. So for dial up support, the number I currently show is 866.722.3425. In the future, when you call in, tell them its about in regards to dial up, and if they sound confused when you tell them its a WANS.NET account, explain to them that they were bought by prodigy who was in turn bought by AT&T. This will lead to less frustration in the future.

But neither I or U-verse cares has the ability to do anything with those accounts, all support has to go through dial up.

Thank you!  The number you mentioned is one of the 8-10 numbers I tried, the message I received there was that they are closed on the weekend.  So I have to wait until tomorrow to hopefully get this resolved.

The sad part is that I am paying about $27/month to mantain my email accounts WITH SUPPORT, although I have not used dial-up for +15 years now.  I was told by AT&T that was the only way to mantain support if needed.  Luckily I only have issues about once a year.
