converting AT&T DSL to fiber - can we keep our email addresses and mailboxes with content going back for MANY YEARS?
We have AT&T DSL and want to switch to AT&T fiber.
Can we keep our email addresses - and 19 YEARS of emails in our accounts - when we switch? Or are fiber accounts different than sbcglobal.net addresses, which is our address.
Also, we have masked email addresses with prefixes - example: [email scrubbed]
Each person has a separate prefix for JUST our emails.
We are subscribed to SOOOOOOO many accounts with these masked email addresses due to the length of the account.
Will those masks remain - or do ALL THOSE addresses have to be changed separately as well?

Glad to address your email inquiry, opayqhelp.
"Can I keep my email if I cancel my service?" is a question we get so frequently, we have an entire article on the subject that you can read. When you cancel your AT&T account, you'll still have access to your email and masked addresses, as long as your account is left in good standing. If there's a balance owed on the account, you'll lose access to the email until it's resolved.
Thanks for visiting the AT&T Community Forums. If you have any other questions about your email, let us know.

we are NOT CANCELING OUR ACCOUNT! As I stated, we are only wanting to switch from AT&T DSL to AT&T fiber.
Could someone please answer the correct questions?

Do I need to ask the question again in order to get a response to my exact question?
Again - we are NOT CANCELING OUR ACCOUNT! As I stated, we are only wanting to switch from AT&T DSL to AT&T fiber.

Also, if you go to the website you provided about the email service for DELETED accounts...the UNMERGE link information is INVALID and goes to a 404 ERROR PAGE!!!
