Car Wifi not connecting to the internet

My 2021 Jeep Gladiator has the unlimited Wifi plan.  It has worked fine the last two months but today I cannot access the internet.  I can connect to the system and I have full bars, but I receive a message that the service cannot access the internet on my phone.  Any suggestions?

Hey there, ! Let's find out why you can't access Connected Car from your Jeep Gladiator.

Connected Car Support will take great care of you. They can be reached at 866.595.1222. They'll help get you back connected. Let us know if you have additional questions. Thank you for visiting the AT&T Community!

This problem with Uconnect has been going on since Nov. of 2021. I have spoken to ATT several, several times and they tell me that it is due to some merger and they are working on it. This of course doesn't help when you use your WIFI for work. I'm switching to Verizon. It has gotten to the ridicules stage.

866.595.1222 is the support number but they outsource everything to India and they are completely clueless. I have been an ATT customer for years and I hate to leave but I need proper service.

I had the radio replaced as well. Solved the problem for a week and then the problem started again. No resolution after being in the phone multiple times with AT&T, Sirius, and UConnect. No one wants to take responsibility and just points the finger at everyone else.

No, Problem is still unresolved. It does absolutely no good to speak with ATT customer service people as they are outsourced employees and will not transfer you to a US based service person who might know what's going on. I have spent hours trying to fix this, as I use my vehicle WIFI for business travel. I have personal phones, wearable devices and three businesses our family owns that all use ATT's services. I'm having to get quotes from alternate carriers to swap everything over to. I have been an ATT client for many years but now it's affecting our livelihood.

2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I was connecting to the wifi but no internet. This has been going on for a couple of months at least. I finally called the AT&T number and the person told me it was a Uconnect problem that was suppose to be fixed by the end of March. It hasn't been fixed. I did get a $20 credit. I'll try writing an email to Dodge to see if that does any good

I got my Jeep health report email. In the health report was an email page where you could report any problems directly to Chrysler customer service. I reported this AT&T Uconnect wifi problem. I mentioned it must also be happening to the Chrysler executives. If they answer me back I will report what they say.

I am having the same issue. 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. AT&T wifi/internet connected to my Uconnect trial was working until it expired. Renewed with monthly internet service. Only AT&T services internet to this vehicle. Customer service with AT&T directs me to the dealership and the dealership directs me to AT&T. Sirius XM and Uconnect directs you to AT&T and AT&T directs you back to the dealership numerous times, numerous people and says that there is nothing they can do because their "refresh" signal does not fix the issue. Also change your password, open your door turn off your car, turn your car back on change your password, make sure you are entering your password correctly ;-) like you are a (Edited per community guidelines) who cannot type the password correctly. smh. Irritating and I just want SiriusXM internet channels to work :-( !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! following... hopefully someone with smarts can figure it out :)

I got an email reply from Chrysler customer service. Here is what they said:

Thank you for contacting Stellantis Customer Assistance Center

I'm sorry to hear about this.  I do see that your vehicles Uconnect Connected Services are through SiriusXM Guardian. For assistance with your  Wi-Fi, you would need to contact SiriusXM Guardian at 1-844-796-4827. That hotline is open 24/7 so you may call at any time.

Regards,

Maurice
Customer Service Representative
Stellantis Customer Assistance Center

I called the SiriusXM Guardian number listed and when you select 4 for wifi it forwards your phone call to AT&T mobile. AT&T says it's a problem with Chrysler cars software and Chrysler gave May 31st as a date it will hopefully get fixed by.

Everyone continues to "pass the buck" and no one wants to take responsibility for getting the issue fixed.  Jeep installed a brand new radio and the wifi worked for a week then stopped again.  I still have no resolution to this either.  The date for resolution keeps getting pushed back it sounds like.

Just curious if users purchased their vehicle new or used?  I purchased mine used and my thought was there is an issue moving the service to my account versus the previous user's account, but AT&T states that is not the issue.
