Yeah, You would need to run another cat5 for what I suggested.

Since you mentioned COAX for the bedroom TV - Is possible - Then you would use the existing  cat5 for the wiireless router.

COAX has its own complications -

You want one splitter. Two may be OK. If you need to buy a splitter it must be like this one - http://www.techtoolsupply.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=holland+hpna+IPTV

You need compression fittings on cable ends.

Do you have COAX from NID to RG? If yes, you have a diplexer. Note how that is connected.

I believe combining the internet and TV on the same switch can cause flooding the switch with video.

Seperate the two with another direct connection or another switch if needed for connection availablity.

So are you saying from the switch in my bedroom run one line to the router and the other to another switch and then the box? Would that be the best way or the opposite? 

I am thinking the second router is just ethernet (wi-fi) that should (already is off the RG.

The other three connections, filling up the RG are TV. Connect those three to a switch & the switch to the RG.

Then the bedroom TV is fed off the TV switch.

You would also have room for the COAX fed if if you wanted to change that.

I get decent speed in my bedroom until I turn on the TV then I have no internet conection. 

 

My question is is it not possible to have a router and a box hooked into the same switch? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. With the set up now I am able to use the uverse app as a remote since the Uverse modem is handling everything. I'm just looking for a simpler way that might work better.

Are you taking router/internet access out the the Uverse STB fed by coax?  If that is the case, you'll never get it to work regular no matter what @aviewer suggests w/another switch.  That is not an approved install as that ethernet port is an incoming port for cat5e to the STB.

Priority on Uverse is Uvoice, TV, Internet.  If you have cat5e feeding that STB, then having the cat5e going into a gigabit switch, then feeding the STB and a router just might work.
