Mrs. Pitts

I live in between Sumrall, MS and Columbia, MS. Both small cities have uverse and other high speed unlimited internet options. I live on a small road with 7 or so homes on it but it connects to two larger roads with 100s of homes on them. The two larger roads both have uverse (att internet). But Att says it’s not an option for my address. My road is only 4 miles long. I am currently on att fixed wireless, but it is limited on the amount of gigabytes and is very unpredictable. I’d like to know if I can hope for better options soon. What is a timeline for that to occure? Should I speak with someone about the service? If so who? Any information would be helpful.

Hello @Shanpitts82,

We're happy to address your question.

We have a very informative article that discusses the many reasons why U-Verse Internet is not available to all addresses, even when homes close by are eligible for the service. While we can guarantee you that we're always working to bring high speed Internet to communities all over the country, we aren't able to give you a time frame as to when U-Verse will be available to your home. However, you can check out this site to see if service is available in your area.

We hope you find this information helpful. If you have any other questions or concerns, let us know.
