Internet

Why does ATT cover a area, but do not cover certain addresses. Even if you are just next door and wanting to transfer your services they do not cover next door. Why be a loyal customer and then be told you can not transfer next door. Makes no sense when your neighbor have internet. So what do a loyal customer for years just do no move or not have internet? This company has poor customer service/care.  Several representative telling me one thing and another telling me something else. I even had a representative put in an unauthorized disconnect on my current home. She has called me at least three times after i asked her not to call me again. It seems no help at all from this service. I have two homes and three cell phones. I have not has any concerns until now. I was even told at one location i had to change my internet to the fiber. That i had no option at all. I had to change, but the tech says it was not a have to at this time and was not sure why we were told this. Also was not told that it was a promotion cost change only that it would be cheaper. Im no longer talking to representative due to them just calling a selling something and not being honest with the customer. I yet to have a technician come to the home to check to see if internet can be transferred next door only a representative saying the computer says......So now ATT let computers choose the customers randomly regardless if next door and only needing a transfer. Again no loyalty on their part. Sad for my original home town that we have to deal with this. The attitude and behavior some of the reps gave me is pitiful. What type of training do they have. Surely not customer service.

We understand your frustration, and want to turn your customer service experience around for you @DaQueen1

There can be many factors that can affect why internet service isn't available at your new address. You can check for service availability at your new address, and sign up to be notified once there is service available there.

In order for us to place an order to have service at an address it will need to be green lit in our system. That is why the representatives informed you that the service isn't available after checking on the computer. If you feel like your new address should have AT&T internet service we can check in our NAV tool.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
