Home install, activate button on app

I am doing a self install of a fiber gateway at my new home. Everything is going good on the home manager app, however it will not allow me to press activate on the app after the front light has started blinking green.

Hello, try to press little red reset button on the back of the gateway for 20 seconds, let it reset, close the app, open app again.

If the button still wont lit up please call 800.288.2020 ask for technical support for internet service and one of us can do it remotely or if the gateway will still be uncooperative we will send out tech.

Same issue. Was receiving help for about 10 mins following the advice above and calling AT&T; however, been on hold for 38 mins (I think, music stopped about 5 mins ago)

Had this exact issue. If anyone else encounters it, here's what I did:

Wait until the gateway begins blinking green.

Close the app, restart it.

Start the setup process, and hit the Next/Continue button as quick as you can. 

Might take a few tries, but it will advance to the activation stage.
