Help with moving UVerse modem to new room in house. See pic.
I want to move my modem to a new room. I have the wall jacks terminated in several rooms, but they were never terminated back on the side where the internet comes in to my house. I'm wondering if I can use this green board with all the connection ports (see pic) as a way to connect all of my rooms to the incoming internet wiring. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I would say they are just termination points to go to other locations, so yes you could. Personally I'd just terminate the one that goes to the room you want to move the modem to. The one that's connected now must go to the NID, I'm assuming the jack you're holding is what your modem plugs into. So terminate the one from the NID on the far left than terminate your existing jack on the next than the one you want to extend it to. Label them so you know what goes where. Looks like you only have 3 others to deal with so should be easy enough. Here's a cheap punch tool on Amazon, you may even be able to find them in a local electronics store. Use a punch down tool to assure a good termination, don't use needle nose or a screwdriver unless you want to ruin the block.
