Wifi network not showing

My new wifi network is not showing on the list of available networks. It worked for a few days and has now disappeared. I have unplugged, replugged, reset multiple times. What next?

We're here to help get your Wi-Fi network displaying again, @KatLyPond!

Since the normal reset did not work, let's have you try performing a factory reset. This will clear any settings that can be causing the Wi-Fi network to not display. You can do so with these steps:

  1. Press and hold the gateway Reset button for at least 10 seconds. If you let go before 10 seconds, the gateway will reboot, but it won’t reset.
  2. Wait until the gateway restarts and all the status lights are lit.
  3. See if the Broadband or Service status lights are solid green. If so, the reset worked.

Heads up: Be sure to jot down your custom settings, like your static IP address if you have one, or your Wi-Fi® network name (SSID). You can then change them back after the factory reset.

Along with that can you let us know what model gateway you have? Also, are any of the lights on your gateway flashing or red? If so, this it could possible be something with the equiupment itself.

We look forward to hearing back from you!
