What is wrong with Smart Home Manager?

I have fixed home wireless. Whenever I sign into Smart Home Manager it says, "Your Wi-Fi network is offline." My Wi-Fi is not offline. It is working fine. I've already unplugged everything and none of that works. This happened back in January and the way it got resolved was me reviewing the app. Not sure how they fixed it back then. I thought it was an issue with the app but it is also affected on the web page when I sign in. I have time restrictions on some profiles that I haven't been able to change the time. When it gets fixed, I plan on undoing all the time restrictions so that the Wi-Fi stays on all the time on all devices since Smart Home Manager doesn't want to work right. I will just use it to check how much data we use out of the 350 GB we get since we get charged $10 for every 50 GB we go over. It's weird how I can check that just fine now even though Smart Home Manager says my network and devices are offline. Please fix to I can change the times back.

We can help you get your Smart Home Manager app working right again, @armathis03

The Smart Home Manager is a universal app. It works the same way with all of our AT&T internet services.

So let's try some troubleshooting steps:

  1. Make sure that your app is up-to-date.
  2. Uninstall the app from the mobile device.
  3. Reboot the Gateway.
  4. Once the gateway is rebooted, make sure that you have an internet connection.
  5. Reinstall the app again.
  6. Log back into the Smart Home Manager app to see if the device list is updated.

Please let us know if this works for you.

Thank you for using the AT&T Community Forums.

I too have complete Internet access, but the app says it's offline (which is not true). I have rebooted several times, but again the app is still not working/ Internet is fine. Is there another way I can manage my devices? I have teenagers, and so the app has been great with helping us managing the devices in our home, but when the app is not working, like it has been for the past 36 hours, it's problematic.

Mine finally started working. I opened up the app one day and it said online. I guess it was about a month ago. Not sure how it got fixed because everything I did didn't work for me. Even uninstalling the app like they say above to do didn't work. You could possibly log in to the website instead of the app and see if it's working.
