San Antonio Texas Outage

At 11:14 AM CDT this morning, September 30th 2020, my internet connection suddenly dropped and no amount of resetting my modem fixed the issue. I checked on MYATT to see if there were any outages and it was stated that there is an outage in my area and that ATT are working "hard" to fix the issue by 09/30/2020 3:29 PM CDT . It's currently 7 PM CDT and I still seem to be having this outage and MYATT reports the same status update. How can I confirm that this is a problem on ATT's side of things and not mine? I have tried swapping out cables and ensuring that all my connections are good. I have also power cycled my ONT, but it still displays a RED Alarm light which I believe means that there is no light being detected in the fiber cable. The fiber cable in my apartment from a visual perspective appears to be free of cuts or damage. The only thing I can think of is that Wednesdays are landscaping days at my apartment and someone may have accidentally cut an exposed fiber cable in my complex? How long will it take for ATT to resolve this issue? I'm working from home and dealing with a tethered internet connection from my phone is far from ideal.

Check with your neighbors.... if it is an outage others should be affected.

IF only your service, then need to call and schedule a tech appointment to troubleshoot and start the resolution process.

Cut wiring, especially if digging by anyone not calling 811 ahead of time, could be a very likely suspect. In our area, the local cable company and the power company have both created issues from digging, some affecting only one or two customers, others cutting a 100 pair copper cable taking out part of a neighborhood.
