Pace 5268 port forwarding Not Working

I am trying to use Emby which is similar to Plex. I can view Emby within my Network. But if i turn wifi off on my phone then we cannot connect to my Emby server. It says that we need to set up port forwarding to 8096. I have created the application under the firewall for emby and had it set up to port forwarding to 8096. But it doesnt work. Still no connection to my server off my network. I used the website Canyouseeme.com and they cannot see my port 8096. I opened a couple other ports that were not made by me to see if i created mine wrong but i cant see any of the ports! It seems like this is an ongoing issue but i cant seem to find a solution Anywhere! So i clicked the option to open all ports. Still nothing. Still not seeing the port on the website and still not connecting to my server. Please I need some help, im at my wits end here cause i have literally tried everything.

We're here to help with your port forwarding, @shandra82!

Do you have regular home internet, or do you have Fixed Wireless Internet service? Port Forwarding and other firewall adjustments are disabled for Fixed Wireless Internet service for network security, so if you are able to make the changes, they won't actually take effect.

If you have regular home internet, make sure the Port Forwarding rules are all set up properly by reviewing our Port Forwarding guide.

Once you're sure that the rules are as they need to be, reboot the Pace 5268 to ensure that the new settings are active.

Let us know if this helps.

Um how do i find out what i have? I have the government aided $10 a month internet service. I looked up fixed internet and i dont think i have that because im in the city and not a rural area but yet i am still having the same problem. I have definitely followed your guide and rebooted my router afterwards. As it is now i have all ports open and still do not have any changes.

@shandra82.

There may be some custom settings on your router that are getting in the way. We'd recommend Factory resetting your router and then trying to open the recommended ports for Emby again.

Let us know if this works!

Ok i have done a Factory Reset, after the factory reset my pace5268 was not under the devices to select like it has been in the past. I put in the ip address to see if that would add the device but it just made the ip address static and i added the port forwarding to that static ip address. I rebooted and im still getting no where. Still cannot see the port open on canyouseeme.com still cannot log on to the emby server from my phone unless im connected to wifi.
