McAfee Security Suite won't download

I'm a new customer and have not been able to download and install the McAfee Security Suite that is supposed to be included with my AT&T Fiber.  I have called and chatted with customer service multiple times. When I click the button to get the security suite it takes me to an eligibility page instead of going to download.

I've been told AT&T and McAfee are negotiating and it will be unavailable until they are done. I was unable to verify... normally if companies are negotiating you can find info about it but I was unable to find anything.

I've been told it's a technical issue that is being worked on. Frankly I don't believe this answer.  If it was simply a matter of the link incorrectly routing you to the wrong page it could be fixed by giving me a direct link to the download and wouldn't take months to fix.

I've been told there is a 6 month trial version available but it's only 1 month. I was able to get a 2nd month... first from McAfee site, 2nd from AT&T link in forums.

My trial ends in 32 days.

I am not willing to go without virus protection.

The long ongoing issue was resolved 3 or 4 weeks ago.  Can you screenshot the "eligibility page" you're talking about?

That's a different issue from the longstanding issue before.  You'll probably have to get an AT&T Support rep to look into why your ID isn't granting you access.

You can wait and see if ATTHelp wanders by and wants to chat, or you can call 800-288-2020.

I've called and used online chat multiple times.  They are useless.  When my free trial ends I'll probably buy McAfee and start insisting they give me a credit for however much it costs.
