Is 1.5 Mbps Upload good enough for Gaming Xbox/PS4 etc?

Im a potential Uverse customer.  I'm interested in the 12Mbps and 80 Mbps speeds but they only offer 1.5 Mbps Upload speeds.  The upload seems really low, I've been a Cable user for years and have throttled my upload connection (to test what upload rate games seem to play at) to 1.3 Mbps and have seen games get really laggy about 1.3 to 1.5 Mbps.

Do any users have problems playing online at 1.5Mbps Upload?  What are your thoughts on the download speeds?  12Mbps download seems slow as well, any problems playing at that download speed?

Any of your advice to a potenial customer would be appreciated.
