Internet continues to drop in and out

Here's some Wi-Fi troubleshooting tips to help with intermittent connections. Here is a quick tip, try restarting your gateway.

1. Unplug your gateway for 15 seconds.
2. Remove and reinsert the battery, if you have an internal battery backup.
3. Plug the gateway back in and wait for the lights to stop flashing.
4. Check your connection to see if the problem is fixed.

JamesR thank you, I have completed these steps multiple times. They are noted in the mobile SmartHome Manager. I have spoken to a representative by phone who merged my networks and, still 2 or more times each day the router will randomly "reset", taking up to 5 minutes to come back online.

Here are some things you can try to fix your AT&T fixed wireless router random reset issue:

• Use a different power outlet.
• Use an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) to protect your router from power outages.
• Make sure that you’re using the power adapter that came in the box with your router.
• Reset your router to factory default settings.
• Unplug the power cord from the back of your device.
• Wait 20 seconds.
• Put the internal battery back in, if applicable.
• Plug the power cord back in.
• Wait up to 10 minutes for the gateway or hub to restart.
