HP printer not connecting wireless

When I look on the HP smart app looking for the new network installed by Att, the new fiber 1000Mbps with white Gateway, it does not recognize our network. It finds other networks in the neighborhood, so I cannot connect our printer wirelessly. What am I doing wrong?? Everything else has been great. My husband needs a printer for work and it is not working. Please help!

The WPS PIN is set up manually, or you can find it on the configuration page, Kbrann18.

Go to the Home Network tab, then the Wi-Fi tab. You'll find the WPS PIN information there.

You'll have to contact HP for the WPS PIN for the printer.

We can address your concern with connecting your printer to Wi-Fi, Kbrann18.

Try restarting your gateway by unplugging the power connection behind the gateway for about 15 seconds, plugging it back in, and waiting for the light on the front of the gateway to turn solid white.

If that doesn't work, perform a factory reset by locating the small red button and pinhole on the lower rear of the gateway and depressing for 15 seconds.

If you need further assistance, let us know.

This did not work. I took a video of what it is doing. I am seriously at my wits end at the amount of hours we have been trying to get this to work.  Now even a USB port to his computer will not print. It prints to three others hooked into USB, but will not to his work computer.

Let us know if there's an error message that comes up when trying to connect the printer to the Wi-Fi, Kbrann18.

Some printers are able to connect via WPS, Kbrann18. Check your printer manual to learn how to access its Wi-Fi settings.

Here are the steps to enable WPS on your gateway:

  1. Log into your gateway by typing http://192.168.1.254 into a web browser
  2. Go to the Wireless Settings
  3. Enable WPS and Save
  4. After WPS is enabled, press the WPS button located on your gateway

If you're still not able to connect, we recommend contacting HP to make sure there's no issue with the printer itself.

If you still need help, feel free to reach back out. Thanks for contacting the AT&T Community Forums.

I do not see WPS information. on this page. I will try again, but there is nothing that said WPS or Pin.

I am so frustrated with this printing situation. The new fiber has worked great for everything else, but this is not working for me. It made my husband's job so much longer this weekend without it being able to print. This printer is not that old, summer of 2020.

Please help!!!!!
