How I can I configure my AT&T 3600HGV modem to work with EnGenius EAP-3660 as repeater?
I would like to extend my wireless signal using an EnGenius repeater that I'm connecting via PoE. I assume that with a repeater you still need the wireless activated on the Uverse router in order to "repeat" the same SSID?? Any other special settings on the Uverse router if I plug the LAN cable of the repeater (with PoE injector) into it? Many thanks in advance!

Hi @Need4Speed,
Normally the repeaters need settings adjusted on their end. We recommend checking the instructional manual. We do recommend you change the SSID and password on the repeater to make the transition seamless. This link may help.

Thank you for the quick reply with link. If I were to decide to just use my EAP-3660 as an Access Point, and not worry about bridging them (they are only 10 feet apart), do I just turn off wifi on the 3600HGV? Or do I still need to create DMZ?
