Can you give us a teeny bit more info to go on, like what gateway do you have, what devices you're using and what are you trying to do?

The model number is on the front of all of the fiber gateways.

Here is a link to a great tutorial that forum member @rtyargh5 posted last year and it's helped countless Xbox owners get past this issue.

A double NAT is usually caused by two routers on the same connection. Only one of the routers should be handling all of the routing duties.

The first question is what service you have? Fiber FTTP (internet speed of 300 or greater), VDSL FTTN speed of 25-100, ADSL2+ speed of 18 or less, Fixed Wireless, uses an antenna to connect to cell tower.

Expected gateways are 210, 320, 599, 5268.

Fixed Wireless has a private IP from upstream router will not be able to change settings.

Hmmmph.....like what?  We still don't know which gateway you have.  The last three, Pace 5268ac, Arris BGW210 and BGW320, are virtually the same.

Show us a screenshot of your Broadband tab.  That'll tell us a lot.

“I don’t have some of the options”

Suggests 5268 with FIXED WIRELESS, antenna based cell tower system installed by DirecTv tech. Fixed Wireless would not have some page settings in the gateway configuration screens.

@my thoughts @tonydi @JefferMC i didnt find any of the "codes" that show what gateway i have. What do you mean by broadcast tab, is it what i see when i go to it's website to mess around with the settings of the gateway?

Look at the front of your gateway. At the bottom is the model number.

Yes, I meant when you go to the Gateway's web interface and click on the "Broadband" tab at the top.

The link browndk26 provided will work on some routers.  If it works, that will tell us something.

Hi , we have some information in addition to what our ACEs have provided. Thanks @tonydi@OttoPylot@JefferMC, and @browndk26!

We recommend checking out our article on Open NAT Type for XBox. It has some helpful information, including turning off the 5Ghz radio to keep the frequencies from interfering with each other.

Please keep us updated!
