Double NAT on Xbox One

I have a ARRIS BGW210-700 modem. Using the modem alone resulted in frequent connection drops, so we bought a Netgear R6260 router. While I don't experience any connection drops, it says i have a Strict Double NAT type on my Xbox One. I've tried port forwarding on the ATT modem, IP allocation (since there is no DMZ) , and turning off the Wifi completely on the modem and using the router in Access Point mode. Nothing seems to be working. This is very frustrating especially since we never had any issues with XFINITY.

You want to set up the BGW210 to treat the NetGear in IP Passthrough. This is my BGW 210 setup for my ASUS router:

@JefferMC Ah so you have your ASUS router MAC address in Passthrough, not your console?

Yes. My consoles connect to the ASUS. If I need port forwarding to the console, I do it in the ASUS; the BGW210 routes all unsolicited traffic to the ASUS.

The console's MAC address wouldn't be visible to the BGW210 if it's connected via your Netgear, as a MAC address is a layer 2 thing, and your router separates the two physical networks. The BGW210 will only see the MAC addresses of things connected to it, or connected via a (layer 2) switch (not a layer 3 router).
