Continuing [email scrubbed] email addresses after terminating ATT internet

If I terminate my current ATT internet Uverse connection (and account) in good standing (i.e, paying all dues), what steps do I need to take to continue using my [email scrubbed] email accounts?  I have one main email account and three email sub-accounts, all are [email scrubbed]. They all do forward to gmail accounts.

The threads I found are six years old and talk about deleting some merged accounts if any.  As far as I know, none of these were merged with any att email accounts.   How do I find out if there was any merged accounts?

Looks like the post has been rendered useless by deleting x**_at_pacbell.net from the subject and the body.  I did not post any specific email, only a generic email address.

Hello @Shareholder,

We're going to miss you, on the bright side, you can still keep your AT&T email address indefinitely after cancelling your internet service.

Under our AT&T Terms of Service, section 5: Termination or Cancellation of Service:

  • Unless otherwise specified, if you cancel your Service, your account ID email address will remain active, as will all email subaccounts you have created. The email accounts may be accessed via Currently, from AT&T

After cancelling your service, you may lose access to some of our support services. We strongly recommend following these helpful tips to ensure you retain access to your account.

Let us know if you have any further questions regarding this. We'll be here and ready to help!

Thank you for being the best part of AT&T!

Jennifer, AT&T Community Specialist.

Thanks @Jennifer.

I have not left ATT--just considering my options.
