What can I do with 25 unreturnable gateways?

I found 25 att gateways in a lot I purchased at bankruptcy auction. I Took them to a  Fed Ex location & 8 of them were not in the system. They gave them back to me.  ATT has never gone out of their way to do me any favors so I am done with mine.  If there is an easier solution than throwing them in the trash I will offer it my consideration.  Petty? Maybe a little, but not if you consider the effort it took getting ahold of someone at ATT that had a clue, much less any effort to find someone that did. Albeit unremarkable, I did ATT a favor. It would be great if ATT could step out of the box to realize there are situations it makes sense to offer incentive to return equipment that otherwise gets trashed.

If those gateways have been removed from AT&T's system, they'll have no interest in them. The devices can never be setup on the network, since they won't authorize. Best thing you can do would be to properly recycle them.

As suggested, find an electronics recycle facility near you.  Somewhere that takes old TVs, VCRs, microwaves, etc.

While there will be no monetary benefit, you will be doing the right thing and the environment will appreciate it.
