Skip pinhole rule

None of my home network services, which I've been running for many years, are now receiving outside connections via my router.    I have a static IP assigned to the router, a 5268AC FXN

The router system log is full of :

  daemon: rulemgrd[1951]: Skip pinhole rule, nodeid: -1, appid: 180, rc 22

And the firewall log has things like:

IN=br1 MAC=e0:22:03:x:x:x SRC=182.x.x.x DST=104.x.x.x TTL=48 PROTO=TCP DPT=2323 Drop Unknown Incoming Packet

IN=br1 MAC=e0:22:03:x:x:x SRC=123.x.x.x DST=104.x.x.x TTL=44 PROTO=TCP DPT=8080 Drop Unknown Incoming Packet

Since I haven't made any changes to my router in months, except to reboot it a few times to try and clear this problem, does this mean I need a new router?

A short time ago AT&T began pushing out a new firmware to the Pace which borked port forwarding.  No telling when they'll fix that but they don't have a history of being quick on the draw when they break something that doesn't totally stop the unit from working for most users.

The workaround that other users have found is to do a factory reset (hold down the reset button for >15) and then re-enter the port forwarding.  But instead of using the device's IP address, use it's hostname.  Note that the factory reset will wipe out all customization you've done so make sure you have notes of what needs to be redone after the reset.

The other 'workaround' is to see if AT&T give you a BGW210, which currently isn't broken in this area.  As long as you're not using the Pace's coax for TV then it's a straight across swap.  The hard part is actually getting them to send the BGW and then hoping that Joe Warehouse doesn't decide to send you another Pace.

Or, if you see an AT&T truck in your neighborhood, see if the tech would swap you for the 210.
