Hi there, ericajones305. We understand that you to have the underground wires moved to you can pour concrete down. We can point you in the right direction.

Before any digging, please give 811 a call. They will need to come out and mark where the lines are. Once that's done, then we can see if we can move the lines and the buried drop.

The best contact after the lines have been marked is, 1-800-288-2020 and ask for tech support, and we can set up a time to come out and assess what needs to be done.

After we come out and make the assessment, the tech that visits you will put in the requests to have the lines unburied and moved. Once that is done, then we will need to come back out and bury the drop again. You can make that request by calling our Buried Wire Center at 1-800-924-9420, and we will arrange a time to return to bury the lines again.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

I tried to change the wifi password on my fixed wireless modem from my computer. Now I have no connection and tells me it's an error...or that I am too far away.  My husband will go nuts without his tv.

We're here to assist with your internet connection, @Diljo!

When experiencing connection concerns, the first thing we always recommend is restarting the gateway. This can usually fix a host of connection issues, such as the one you are experiencing.

Here are the steps to take:

  1. Unplug the power cord from the back of your gateway or modem. If you have:
    • An internal battery backup, remove it
    • DSL, unplug the phone cord from your modem or gateway
  2. Wait 20 seconds.
  3. Put the internal battery back in if you have one.
  4. Plug the power cord back in. If you have DSL service, reconnect the phone cord.
  5. Wait for the gateway or modem to restart and your Broadband light to turn solid green. This can take up to 10 minutes.

Along with trying that, can you let me know how you are trying to connect back to the network? Ethernet cord ore Wi-Fi? If  via Wi-Fi, do you see the network when searching for one to connect to? This will be helpful in finding a resolution to your concern.

We look forward to hearing back from you!
