Motorola BGW210-700 keeps resetting randomly a few times per hour.

I'm new to this website and since people want to be extremely rude I'll make my own post...

I've looked over at least nine different posts, none of them have given me an answer that worked.

I have tried editing the 5GHZ with a different name. Nothing. Tried to turn off the IPv6. Nothing. Hard reset the entire modem. Nothing.

And yes I've done all the basic things the chords are good the power is good and it's not covered up it has good air flow...

It's been going on for a week now and it's starting to really drive me mad...

I saw that you created this post (thank you for that) and was going to jump in to help once I finished answering another post.  But if you think my very polite request for you to create your own post was "extremely rude" then I think I'll just leave it up to someone else.

I wish you luck in getting your problems fixed.

You weren't rude the other 2 poster on 2 different post was. You just informed me of what to properly do. But hey it's not the first time today somebody has twisted my words and taken it out of context. That's why I didn't reply to the last thing you posted on the other one because you weren't the one being rude.

Just so you're aware I've been on three different forums trying to figure this out... And have tried everything on each one of them that I've read on a total of probably 10 different posts now if not more...

Well, it was only satscout and me commenting in that post and you said "both of y'all" so I took that to include me.

Ok, I'm here to help people so let's just rewind and forget that other post.  Cool?

First off, which AT&T Internet service do you have?  Speed?

You said all the lights go off and back on quickly, but your connection is down for 10-35 mins.  When it's "down" what is the state of each light (color, solid, blinking slow/fast).  Normally if the gateway restarts it's only a few minutes to come ready.

We have regular U-verse with I think basic speeds. And yes all the lights turn off for half a second and turn back on and start resetting and that happens every 10 to 35 minutes or so. It does not stay off for 10 to 35 minutes my apologies for wording it poorly.

Just for clarity I am at my girlfriend's house trying to fix her Wi-Fi for her (I play Xbox here so it's kind of for me too)

You said the "power is good", presuming that means you tried a different AC source so it sure sounds like a hardware issue (power supply itself or the gateway).

Have you contacted AT&T at the 800-288-2020 number to tell them about this?  I would think their first option (after asking you to power cycle the gateway 🙄) would be to suggest sending you a replacement.

Yeah my girlfriend's going to a funeral today she won't be back until Saturday morning. And as I said it's her account. I'll let her know that that might be what she has to do.

And yes I tried the things you asked about. Thank you for your help. Sorry if I came off rudely earlier, misunderstandings happen.

You have a great day.
