Turn on your guest network exclusively 2.4 and point your cameras there.

Hello @Fabs, we're happy to help with information on how to connect 2.4G Wi-Fi cameras to your 5G router.

Thank you, @Constructive for providing that helpful information and solution. To disable band steering as the ACE requested, make sure the network names are different, so it disables band-steering. You can do so by following these steps in your Smart Home manager.
  1. Sign in to Smart Home Manager
  2. Select Tools
  3. Choose Network Notifications. If you have different network names for each radio, you’ll get a Different Network Names notification. Select Choose One and pick the network name you want to change and follow through with changing the network name.

Check out our Enhanced Wifi networking page for additional details. Let us know if you have any questions. Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.
