How to choose allocation of wifi band for specific devices?

I'm attempting to on-board a device that requires 2.4g band, but there's no option I can find that would allow me to allocate this manually?  I've already assigned an IP allocation to the table for it.  If it matters, the device is a Google Home Mini.

Oh and I forgot to mention, I don't want to split the bands into separate SSID's as it would impact access by other household members.

You other option is to enable the Guest Wifi radio.   Go to http://192.168.1.254/cgi-bin/wconfig_unified.ha and Enable the Guest SSID and point the device to that Guest Network Name.  Don't forget to click Save.

Hi @tonydi could you clarify how this qualifies as a work-around?  I.e., does the Guest Wifi radio run exclusively in 2.4g band?

Yep, that's it exactly!
