How can I report a scam?
I just received a call claiming to be from AT&T, from (417)xxx-xxxx [EDITED], in which a lady with a very thick accent of some kind said that there was trouble with our internet/TV connection, and wanted to send an AT&T tech to my address. She wanted me to pay $99.00 for this visit.

Katydid1:
Anybody comes on your phone "just like AT&T does". Because, well, they all send SMS messages. That's like saying you put your pants on just like the president of AT&T does (yeah, one leg at a time).
RGsarsfield:
I believe you're right. And that you shouldn't be publishing their phishing URLs for them.

In my humble opinion... reporting scam is useless. Just make sure you know how to spot scam email/SMS/phone calls. Teach family members and friends who are less savvy than you are or who easily trust everyone/everything the see/read/hear. You'll achieve more than reporting SMS, email scams. I delete all unwanted SMS and email. I don't even answer incoming phone calls unless I recognize the number.
