Help connection keeps dropping
Ok, I have an Arris BGW210-700with ATT. And an Oribi RBR20 kit with one satellite. I need step by step instructions on how to set this up. All settings that make my connection the fastest most secure. I have clueless on the settings and I know ill just F things up if I try on my own. I don't know what to set any settings so if anyone also has pointers on anything other settings I need or want let me know. lol, I'm just confused as to access points and routers and which is best at what that gives the most speed.

What connection is dropping? WiFi or wired?
Set up as an access point. Follow the orbi instructions to set up as an access point.
when completed, turn off the gateway WiFi.

wifi tab
enter access code (found on the gateway data plate)
advanced
turn off both WiFi radios

WiFi I did exactly as you said. It works fine until I go to my garage. Where my office is. Connects fine and as soon as I type in a web address it drops WiFi over and over. I had the satellite out here for months and it worked perfect and then I guess there was updates and no it won’t stay connected.

You could try factory resetting the Orbi and setting it up as if new.

Or simply restarting the orbi system.
