hairpin issue: cannot loop back and try the remote access to the modem
I have set the remote access, like
Then when I tried it from a computer within the LAN, it failed.
It seemed a hairpin issue, isn't it. Does ATT allow the hairpin?

AT&T Gateways do not support NAT Loopback (or hairpin, as it is sometimes called). It sometimes appears to work, though extremely slowly and not reliably. If this is an important feature for you, then you'll need to get your own router and place it behind the AT&T Gateway in IP Passthrough mode.
