Forward port 443

I am attempting to forward TCP port 443 on my AT&T fiber internet gateway.  When I attempt to forward the port, I get an error message:

The port range 443 - 443 in the service conflicts with the device managed port 443 - 443

I found a post here that a wireless TV receiver could be to blame, so I removed the wireless TV receiver from my network and removed it from the whole account, sent it back.  I still cannot forward TCP port 443.  I contacted support three times today and they are also not able to forward the port.  They are referring me to ConnecTech paid support.  This is unacceptable!  Does anyone have an idea of what I might need to do to get TCP port 443 forwarded?  If not, I'll need to start shopping ISPs.

In a fit of rage I factory reset my AT&T internet gateway, and after that I was able to create the port forwarding rule.  AT&T support is useless.

Hmmm, this is interesting.  What modem do you have?  I have a BGW210-700 and having the same issue.  I've got about a dozen port forwarding rules, but before I reset mine, would love to know more.

AT&T Support is useless.  They want me to pay someone to enable something that I'm already paying for.  Unbelievable.
