DHCP - "reset list" to solve connection issues?
After 3 years of no issues with my ATT router, the last week or so I'm having trouble with some devices, usually phones or laptops, not connecting to the internet; I get a "connected but no Internet" message. Despite that, my smart devices like Amazon Echo, Firestick, etc., continue to work fine. If I restart everything, I might get internet access for my phones, but usually not for long. I have a Pace HomePortal Intelligent Gateway 5268ac. I looked on the Settings-LAN-Status page and noticed I had 189 devices allocated with 1 remaining, so thought that might be the problem. I changed the DHCP lower limit to 192.168.1.32 which got me another 32, but I am still having issues. I have no idea how I could have 189 allocated devices - just a couple printers, laptops, phones and maybe 20 smart devices. I think maybe clicking the DHCP "Clear List" button might help, but it says not to do it unless directed. Any advice? Thanks!

Let's take a look at your connections together, @danschy.
The DHCP clear list option will remove all IP addresses under DHCP management. This would be a good option to try if the issue you're experiencing persists.
We would also recommend resetting your gateway as another option. It's always a safe go-to when trying to resolve connection issues. Keep in mind, resetting the gateway will delete any custom settings you may have.
Please let us know if your solution worked, or if you're still experiencing this!

We can help with your connection concerns, @danschy.
Firstly, please try to download and login to the smart home manager app. This will let you see all 189 devices allocated, control your devices and network, and check the identity of all the devices on your network.
Secondly, we recommend that you use an ethernet cable to see if those devices with connection concerns are still unable to connect.
Lastly, we recommend that you factory reset the gateway as the last troubleshooting step. Remember, you’ll lose any custom settings. Factory resetting can often fix internal settings within the gateway as well as clear out any devices you no longer use.
Please let us know if this helps.

Thanks! The devices that can't connect do not have ethernet ports. In lieu of a factory reset, will simply clicking the DHCP "Clear list" be a good first step? I tried to use the Smart Home Mgr app but was having issues - I will try again. It is possible that adding more IP addresses by lowering the lower limit (which I did yesterday evening) has resolved the issue as I have not had any issues today - still have 32 addresses available. Thanks again.

Good news is the issue has not resurfaced since extending my DHCP IP range a couple days ago. I'd like to do a gateway reset just to clean everything up, but am concerned about having to reconfigure all the smart switches, so for now will just enjoy my stable network. Thanks for the support. I consider the issue closed.

The DHCP range was apparently not the problem, or at least not the only problem ,since I have continued to experience periods of internet access instability. This morning I did a gateway factory reset, reconfigured my wifi names and passwords, and it's been running fine since, so we'll see if that finally resolves the issue. I did notice that the response time when talking to the gateway is much improved, so maybe its happier.
