you need to call and have a tech visit,it is against the law for you to tamper with communications facilities unless attached to your house.like the NID ONT or service drops

Hello- we have an in ground AT&T box in front yard that the box cover is rusted and breaking down but no one at AT&T seems to be able to help out with this or direct me to correct person or department to have this cover inspected and replaced before someone steps on it and falls thru- already people have cut their foot on the sharp cover surface. Can someone please help out? Thank you.
