Change my public IP from IPV6 to IPV4

I have to connect to a server that does not support IPV6, and my public IP IPV6. Is there a way to change that in PACE 5268 gateway or do I need to contact ATT to obtain a IPV4 public address?

We are here to help with your IPv6 inquiry, @edgar3206,

You can disable IPv6 inside the router by:

  1. Open up a web browser.
  2. Type 192.168.1.254
  3. Enter in username and password.
    • Username is admin.
    • Password is the Access Key or A/C located on the gateway.
  4. Find the LAN tab.
  5. Select subcategory IPv6.
  6. Un-check the box to disable IPv6.
  7. Save settings.
  8. Exit.

There can be small variations on where the IPv6 tab is located. This will depend on the gateway.

You may also need to disable IPv6 on your device as well.

Let us know if this helps.

@selena0512 , as your problem likely has nothing to do with the original thread, I'd suggest that you create your own new question.  Two, could you be more specific about exactly it's asking for, maybe take a picture of the screen and post it with your question?

Since you're using Wireless Internet, please specify if you're using Fixed Wireless Internet (with a professionally installed outside antenna) or Wireless Home Internet (no antenna outside your home that you just hooked up yourself).
