Broadband 1 flashing red

I have restarted the gateway many times and nothing had changed about the situation, issue has persisted for two days now

But you still have Internet service?  If so you're going to need to schedule a tech visit to find the issue with one of the two pairs bringing your Internet into your home.  The Smart Home Manager app can help or call 800.288.2020.
