AT&T Wireless Internet Device (NetComm IFWA-40)
I am looking into purchasing the AT&T Wireless Internet Device (NetComm IFWA-40) to use while at a lake house over the summer. AT&T has the best (4G LTE) phone coverage in the area (zip code 56273), and phones on AT&T plans are able to play HD YouTube videos and such with relative ease while there, even better than phones on Verizon.
Given this decent phone coverage, should the hotspot device provide my computers with similar connection speed and strength? I will be purchasing a standalone data plan (+ voice talk, as required) for the device. As there are no normal ISPs (Charter/Spectrum is close, but cannot service the address), it's either this or satellite internet. I can purchase separate antennas/cell signal boosters if needed.

Hi @meagon
Thank you for reaching out to us. We've just checked the coverage in that area and you should be good to go. You can view the available data plans here. Did you have any other questions regarding wireless internet?

I had a 3G ZTE WF 720 that always worked great - it never went offline to leave us without service however ATT replaced it with IFWA-40 that constantly goes offline daily where do I go to replace this IFWA-40 device or suggest a better one?
