AT&T Wi-Fi extender connected but didn’t finish setup
My extender says connected but I didn’t finish the setup. Every time I try to run a scan for signal strength it’s say switch to main Wi-Fi network. But when I check network is under my main Wi-Fi network. Could someone help me please.

Hi, @c_gsquad22, we would be happy to assist with your Wi-Fi extenders set up.
We recommend trying to complete the set-up using the Smart Home Manager. Smart Home Manager is an easy and convenient way to customize your Wi-Fi settings and accessories to your liking.
If you are unable to get the extenders set up using Smart Home Manager, make sure that you linked up the extender and gateway properly.
If the above fails, we suggest reseting both the extender, by unplugging it for approximately 10 minutes, and performing a factory reset on the gateway. This will clear up any unwanted settings saved in the gateway that may be interfering. Be sure to jot down your custom settings, like your static IP address if you have one, or your Wi-Fi network name (SSID). You can then change them back after the factory reset.
Give the above a try and get back with us. If you are still unable to complete the set up, we can take a closer look into your connection in private.

Ok but I tried resetting both the extender as well as the gateway and still same issue. I have the AT&T Extender and used the Smart Home Manager to setup but once the Extender is connected, I go to to the next step of taking out the Ethernet cord and looking to see where I can place the extender for stronger signal and when I hit run scan a message pops up and say, “ Switch to AT&T Gateway main Wi-Fi network” which I thought I was already on. So how can I switch to my main Wi-Fi network if I’m already on it. So I just exit out of the setup process and plug in the Extender where I wanted. However when I check the Smart Home Manager it’s says The Extender is online with couple devices connected without finishing the setup process.

Thanks for sharing that information with us, and we'd be happy to help with getting your Wi-Fi extender set up @c_gsquad22.
In order to further help with this we'll need to meet in a DM. We'll need to gather some information to see what next steps we'll need to take to get your Wi-Fi extender set up. I have a different problem, I have three extenders because of the way the house is laid out. I set up the first extender but the white light kept blinking and did not be constantly on so I exited the smart home manager. Then it turned constantly white after a long period of time. Now I want to set up my other extenders but I do not have the directions on smart home manager anymore. How do I continue setting up the other extenders? I need to connect it to the first extenders and put it in a location to reach my dead spot.
