Att Uverse outage

Located near zip code 78660. It’s been over 24 hours with no internet and NO HELP or ETA on when our internet will be up and running again.  We’ve contacted customer support 3 times with no answers. Each time we’ve called they said there is no outage and proceeds to walk us through restarting the router and once they see all is good on our end they then advise there is an outage. Yes we know…that’s why we keep calling and wanting to know when this will be fixed! I’m tired of hearing allow more time.. well how much time? Hours days? Will this be fixed before Monday? We’ve missed 2 whole work days as we work from home.

Hi there, @kwils! We understand the importance of having a working Internet connection and want to help.

We've checked, and we were able to confirm the service interruption in your area. You can sign in to our outage tool to get the latest info about outages affecting your AT&T services. Plus, you can sign up for text alert updates. Learn more about AT&T text alerts and how to recognize them.

Once you see that the outage has been cleared, and you find yourself still having trouble with your service, try restarting your gateway. Doing so can help to refresh your connection after a service interruption. Here's what you'll do:

  1. Unplug the power cord from the back of your gateway or modem. If you have:
    • An internal battery backup, remove it
    • DSL, unplug the phone cord from your modem or gateway
  2. Wait 20 seconds.
  3. Put the internal battery back in if you have one.
  4. Plug the power cord back in. If you have DSL service, reconnect the phone cord.
  5. Wait for the gateway or modem to restart and your Broadband light to turn solid green. This can take up to 10 minutes.

If you still need help after that, please feel free to reach back out so that we can investigate further. Thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums!
