Access to Devices on Other 3 Ports on Gateway After Adding My Own Router
I am in process of adding my own ASUS router to my AT&T network which acts as the primary of four in a AIMesh configuration. The primary is plugged into one of the four ports on the AT&T Gateway. I have a number of other devices, some through switches, plugged into the other 3 ports on the AT&T Gateway. My question is once I set up my new router mesh system using the pass-through techniques discussed elsewhere, will I still have the ability to view files across devices still plugged into the AT&T Gateway or do I need to move those other 3 connections to the new Primary Router in my mesh system in order to see them as part of my home network? I saw an an AT&T message suggesting that after setting up my own router, I may no longer have access to those other devices still using the other 3 AT&T Gateway ports.
