Care to share the website where the promise is made the price is set for a year?

ATT Internet Terms Of Service agreement, you agreed to when establishing service…

https://www.att.com/legal/terms.HSIAAttTermsofService.html

PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY TO ENSURE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND EACH PROVISION. THIS AGREEMENT REQUIRES THE USE OF ARBITRATION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS TO RESOLVE DISPUTES, RATHER THAN JURY TRIALS OR CLASS ACTIONS, AND ALSO LIMITS THE REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO YOU IN THE EVENT OF A DISPUTE.

You must accept this Agreement as a condition of receiving the Service. By accepting this Agreement, you confirm you are a capable adult over the applicable age of majority (e.g. eighteen (18) years of age in most U.S. states and territories; nineteen (19) in Alabama and Nebraska; and twenty-one (21) in Mississippi and Puerto Rico – an "Adult"). If you are an entity, by accepting this Agreement, you confirm (through your duly authorized representative) that you are a corporation, partnership, or other legal entity duly formed (and incorporated if applicable) in good standing where required to do business with all legal authority and power to accept this Agreement; and you are also confirming that this Agreement constitutes a valid and binding obligation of yours. You are responsible for ensuring that all use of the Service complies with this Agreement, and you will be deemed to have breached this Agreement if you or any other person, whether or not authorized by you, uses the Service in a manner inconsistent with this Agreement. By enrolling in, activating, using, or paying for the Service, you agree to the terms and conditions in this Agreement, including, but not limited to, the prices, charges, and terms and conditions provided to you in marketing and informational materials associated with the Service, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.

1. Changes to this Agreement and/or the Service

We may change any terms, conditions, rates, fees, expenses, or charges regarding your Service at any time. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service, temporarily or permanently.

One, this is not OUR company. We are just customers like yourself who offer suggestions in this public, customer to customer only forum. Two, read your TOS completely, especially the section about Binding Arbitration.

I DO NOT AGREE TO AN ARBITRATION. YOUR COMPANY KEEPS CHANGING PRICES ON CLIENTS, EVEN WHEN THEY WERE JUST SET BY YOUR CUSTOMER LOYALTY DEPT. IN MY OPINION YOU ARE JUST A BUNCH OF SNEEK THIEVES. YOU CONSTANTLY PULL (Edited per community guidelines) ON YOUR CUSTOMERS BY GETTING THEM TO AGREE TO A (Edited per community guidelines) FIX . WHEN WITHIN 2 MONTHS YOU JACK PRICES UP AGAIN AND AGAIN. YOU HAVE CREATED FRAUD AND DECEPTION ON THE PEOPLE. THIS HAS TO STOP!

I DO NOT AGREE TO AN ARBITRATION.

The moment service was installed you agreed to the TOS which include arbitration.

Service > Terms of Service >  Arbitration or Small Claims Court.  🤷‍♀️

Paragraph 13 in the TOS:

In the unlikely event that AT&T's customer service department is unable to resolve a complaint you may have to your satisfaction (or if AT&T has not been able to resolve a dispute it has with you after attempting to do so informally), we each agree to resolve those disputes through binding arbitration or small claims court instead of in courts of general jurisdiction.

FYI:  SCC is limited to <$10,000 so your $50 million would be out of the question.  🙄

This is not our company. We are just customers like yourself who are not compensated for our participation. If you have written proof of what was said or promised to you then by all mean file the BBB or FCC complaint so you can talk directly with a Senior Manager in the Office of the President. And please read your TOS, that you agreed to, before talking to the Senior Manager so you understand what you agreed to and what your rights are. Nobody has forced you to agree to anything or even use AT&T as your provider. Once you signed up for AT&T services, you agreed to all that is in the TOS. Period.
