Smart Home Manager not providing activity for wired devices

I have a mix of wired and wireless devices, including DIRECTV Stream receivers. Both types are being detected as online but no activity is reported for any wired device. Total activity being reported is less than being recorded for billing of daily useage so apparently the wired devices are contributing.

Hello greenep48, we can help you understand the activity of your wired devices as displayed on the Smart Home Manager App.

To better understand your concerns, and to help us provide a resolution, please send us a screenshot of what you see with wired devices and wireless devices on the Smart home manager App.

We totally understand that activities on wired devices may not be displayed on the Smart Home manager app, but if there is data pulled from the network by the wired devices, the data usage activity may be tracked elsewhere.

We would like you to join us in a Direct Message to into this together. You can do this by checking the DM inbox icon which is located next to the bell icon.

We look forward to your response.

Well - accidentally solved most of this issue! I had a neighborhood power outage 2 days ago ( actually 3 short outages). After power was completely restored, and the ATT internet took another 6 hours to stabilize, I discovered that Smart Home Manager is now detecting and monitoring activity on all my wireless AND wired devices! Activity is displayed for each of the 4 Ethernet ports on the gateway, and each port indicates the number of devices serviced by that port number, which means the network switches are transparent (just as they should be). Now I had previously rebooted the gateway by removing power several times, so that is not the solution. You need to reboot the entire network! Easiest way on a complicated network may be to turn off power to the entire facility (I.e. house, apartment, office, etc). You may have to do this whenever a new device is added!
