Scam in the name of new customer or when you move

I signed up for AT&T when offered for a $250 reward.

I got $50 reward and was told the rest of the reward will be after 3 months-  when checked with them after 3 months they deny outrightly that there is no such reward program and they cannot help. A year later when I was switching houses again was promised $200 if I continued with AT&T but again things go the same way.

they rely on the presumption that people tend to forget in 3 months about the reward and also make the process to redemption so hard that a busy customer would be better off to let it go

like I said - staying with them while I shift was easy (time n hassle of new account set up) 

for some part of me was also like was the prev instance a one off and may be things improve

How did you order both times, online, calling AT&T, from an in-store kiosk? 

I've gotta tell ya, I don't think you've got any hope of getting your rewards money.

To qualify for reward cards, your account must be active and in good standing. If it currently is, then we suggest you go to our Reward Center or call them at 800-288-9983 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (CST), Monday through Friday.


They are better able to assist you with finding out why you haven't received your reward card. If you have already called them, please let us know so that we can invite you into a Direct Message to check your account.
