Access from AT&T  is the low cost internet program for those that qualify.  It is available in limited areas but use the link to check availability and qualifications.

For home phone, there is AT&T Lifeline

However the access package requires you to be on SNAP (food Stamps) to qualify

the access package requires you to be on SNAP (food Stamps) to qualify

Since the pandemic they've added a couple of qualification options:

  • Expanding Access from AT&T on eligibility based on income* as well as households participating in National School Lunch and Head Start Programs

*Household income based on 135% or less than federal poverty guidelines.

Now more than ever it’s important to have internet access to stay in touch with family, friends, work, and school. In response to the public health crisis, through 12/31/20, AT&T is temporarily:

  • Expanding Access from AT&T eligibility based on income* as well as households participating in National School Lunch and Head Start Programs
  • Waiving home internet data overage fees. (Does not apply to DSL)

Since as of now those added options are temporary, let us be prepared for the onslaught of posts that will undoubtedly follow!
