Internet outage

We just switched to at&t fiber because it was new to the neighborhood and things were good for a week or so then it went out last Friday they were putting in the neighbors internet across the street at the time of outage I’m assuming it had an affect because we share a box connection thing can anyone help it says I have the WiFi signal but the bgw router just blinks red slowly with no internet connection and we called and went through troubleshooting steps but it didn’t help and the guy on the phone wasn’t much help basically told us to deal with it and set an appointment for this week has anyone had this same problem??
