Internet outage since yesterday evening??!!! Why

There has been an outage since yesterday evening. Why is it taking so long to restore? I am working from home and can’t do that without internet service

Have you confirmed that it's a local area outage, as opposed to a problem just affecting you? Click Here to check reported outages. If nothing's showing up, then you likely have a local connection problem. What gateway model do you have, and what lights are showing? Try unplugging your gateway for 30 seconds & then reconnecting. If you have red Broadband and/or Service lights, it's time to call 800.288.2020 and have support check the line. They can dispatch a tech if needed.
