Disconnect / Cancel Internet DSL Account
I tried calling all the 1-800 numbers you provided and was transferred 6 times, waited on hold for 2 hours and today was on hold for an hour and STILL NOT resolve. ATT is giving me a hard time to cancel or disconnect my account. Trying this one, I HOPE THEY CALL OR RESPOND TO ME!

I have the same issue. AT&T 1-800 kept me on hold for soo long until I get disconnected and no call back. The "Submit an online cancel request" does NOT work. It goes to "We didn't find services available for your request." It just so frustrating.

Hi @nothappycustomer. Just to clarify, the cancel request form only applies to DSL and Home Phone services. Wireless, DTV, or other products do require you to contact us via phone or chat. You can find more information on our cancellation support page.
The article indicates:

If you are trying to cancel one of these two types of services, please let me know.
Thanks

When you call in at the voice prompt say cancel service up front. That should get you to the loyalty group, only they can cancel service if there's no online way to do it.

Given that it's the day after 22 Feb 2022, which was a deadline of some sort, it stands to reason that the AT&T Support Centers are most likely somewhat busy with calls related to a certain shutdown. It will require patience to reach them for several days.

A lot of old topics have been dug up also. Someone may need a timeout if it continues.
